Jackie and the SJA team have been an amazing support to our whanau, guiding us in such a confusing system.
My husband and I care for three young children who were displaced from their family home.
Guiding me through the schooling system, medical system, arranging swimming lessons for the children for free and dimply being there for advice and support if and when I need it.
Jackie and her team are pillars of the community, supporting people from all walks of life, facing all kinds of situations, always ready to assist where they can and if they cannot, guiding people to others who can help.
Their continued support, no matter the circumstance’s, just shows their understanding and dedication in helping people in general and we will always be so grateful for their help. They have supported us in meetings with Oranga Tamariki, making sure we understand, as this can be quite overwhelming. This was continued with ongoing conversations with Oranga Tamariki, making sure we had help until the children were settled.
The support is, we believe, vital to our community, encouraging and supporting us to support these children, who have come from a difficult background, is extremely overwhelming and not to forget challenging. We believe SJA is vital to helping us and it is not just for the families they support but makes our community a better and safer place.
We can never thank Jackie and Her team enough.
